I crave the clarity

This source of fear, anxiety

Misunderstood internal dialogue 

It's time — excavate

Launch, head first

Aim for the gloom

Penetrate its veil

Feel the texture of doubt

That insecurity

What else is present?

Oh yes, 

The indelible discarded dreams

Languishing

Lance the toxic remnants

Drain the apprehension 

It's clutch still firm

Liberate the darkness

Neutralise sk

"Connecting in the darkness"

Your illumination draws me near

Perfect form

We circle — assess

Connect

Harmonic dance 

Intense resonance

Shifted space 

The moment treasured 

Released

Passed

Fading glow

What is the meaning of this?

What will you make of it?

Do you need to?

Capitulate to the past

Capture the now

Create 

"Grounded"

"Be grounded", they said.

I tried

It didn't resonate

Why?

Numerous attempts.

Futility

Disappointment

Let me be

I was born for this

To elevate

Sparkle

Dart about

Let me fly brighter than your highest star

Reflect that magical light

Bask in vibrant motion

Particulate the colours

This is who I am

This is what I am about

For I have wings — can't you see?

Let me fly

My life is this beautiful sky
